People have said I am like a breath of fresh air. Empathetically putting others first, being filled with positive, professional energy, and connecting well with different types of people are just some of the unique capabilities I bring to the professional scene. Self-motivation is a huge strength of mine that has allowed me to perform well in the past even with very little management or oversight.
During my internship with Hilti, I was given a company vehicle, a computer, a phone with company apps and contacts, a list of small accounts, and the freedom to use my time how I saw fit without direct supervision. It was very challenging to know what to do and who to talk to for help, but I made sure to never waste my time and ended the summer with impressive sales results (top-selling intern in my group). I also completed an in-depth research project, which required substantial knowledge of company language and practices. This was all because I had the fortitude to manage my time and work hard without someone telling me what "assignments" I had to complete.
A huge challenge companies are facing today when hiring recent college graduates is these individuals want an assignment sheet to follow like they had for their courses. I've already learned what many of them will have to learn eventually: Life in the business world doesn't follow a syllabus. You have to pull up your bootstraps and figure things out on your own. I can guarantee for this reason and others that I will be the hardest worker in whatever position I find myself. I may not always be the most knowledgeable at first, but I will always find a way to get the job done without wasting time.

Why I am Unique
Integrity. Energy. Resilience.
